The starting point
Tenkile Conservation Alliance is a conservation organisation working to protect critically endangered tree kangaroos and support community-led conservation initiatives in Papua New Guinea.
When the organisation’s leadership came to Keystone Impact Solutions, they were under intense operational pressure. Essential annual reports were overdue, manual tasks consumed valuable time, and scattered systems made it difficult to focus on strategic conservation work.
The challenge wasn’t commitment or expertise — it was capacity.
The challenge
The organisation was facing compounding operational strain:
overdue annual reports and compliance documentation
time-consuming manual administrative tasks
limited bandwidth for strategic conservation leadership
fragmented systems draining focus and energy
The COO didn’t start a conservation organisation to spend her days buried in paperwork — but the operational burden was beginning to overshadow the mission.

The role
Keystone Impact Solutions stepped in to provide ongoing operational and impact support, working closely with the team to stabilise systems, complete critical reporting, and streamline day-to-day operations.
The focus was not just on “catching up”, but on creating sustainable systems that would reduce pressure long-term and free leadership to focus on conservation outcomes.

“Reliable, knowledgeable, outstanding.”
And adds:
“KIS is wonderful — highly recommend to other organisations and businesses in environment and sustainability. She has made such a difference.”

The bottom line
Before working with Keystone Impact Solutions, Tenkile Conservation Alliance was weighed down by overdue reporting, manual tasks, and operational complexity — leaving little space for strategic conservation leadership.
Today, the systems behind the organisation are stronger, clearer, and more manageable.
The operational burden has eased.
Time has been reclaimed.
And the focus is back where it belongs: protecting biodiversity and supporting conservation on the ground.
